The Jersey Archive Centre is a good place to start on family research. The Viscounts Office still exists though it is no longer in the Royal Square.

Greve de Lecq is the most popular beach on the North coast of Jersey a sheltered bay with cliffs on both sides and coarse golden sand. Swimming Safe swimming apart from when heavy swells arrive in Winter when it becomes an excellent surf break. Parking There is a plenty of parking available but it fills up during high season weekends and bank holidays. Refreshments Colleen's Cafe is the best there with great views free. Battle of Flowers is probably the big tourism 'event' of the year. Floats festooned with bright flowers parade down Victoria Avenue as they have done for more than 100 years.
