" The gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ... encompasses the three-fold work of Christ - creation, conservation, consumation - past, present, and future. One preaches a gospel with no foundation if he neglects or distorts the creation, a gospel with no power if he omits the cross and the empty tomb, and a gospel with no hope if he ignores or denies the coming kingdom." - Dr. Henry Morris, Biblical Creationism Continue reading

One day a group of scientists got together and decided that man had come a long way and no longer needed God. So they picked one scientist to go and tell Him that they were done with Him. The scientist walked up to God and said, “God, we've decided that we no longer need you. We’re to the point that we can clone people and do many miraculous things, so why don’t you just go on and mind your own business?” God listened very patiently and kindly to the man. After the scientist was done talking, God said, “Very well, how about this? Let’s say we have a man-making contest.” To which the scientist replied, “Okay, we can handle that!” “But,” God added, “we’re going to do this just like I did back in the old days with Adam.” The scientist said, “Sure, no problem” and bent down and grabbed himself a handful of dirt. God looked at him and said, “No, no, no. You go get your own dirt.” Source: Creation Safari Continue reading

"The brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea, and when they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so." - Acts 17:10-11 Continue reading

I hope you have had the opportunity to visit the ocean and while standing on the beach, admire the breathtaking display provided by its waves as they wash the coastline. Waves are produced by the ocean’s tides. As the moon orbits the earth, its gravity pulls on the earth’s oceans, causing tides. Both the sun and the moon’s gravity affect tides, but the moon’s closeness to earth causes it to influence tides twice as much as the sun. A closer or further away moon would negatively impact our way of life. If the moon were closer to the earth, we would experience bigger tides. Ocean waves could sweep across the continents. The seas, because of the resulting friction from bigger tides, might even heat all the way up to boiling point. On the other hand, a more distant moon would reduce the tides. Marine life would be endangered by the huge amount of inactive water. People would also be threatened because marine plants replenish the oxygen in the air we breathe. Given that none of these things are happening, we can conclude that the moon is in just the right position for the well being of all living things on... Continue reading

(or Creation Thoughts During Easter) It was mentioned at my church, and very likely at yours as well, that this is the week of weeks for all Christians. The Palm Sunday celebration was very moving; my favorite part was when the Children's choir walked into the sanctuary and with their tender, beautiful voices worshiped our Lord Jesus, singing "Holy, Holy, Holy!" Observing their innocence while they sang almost brought me to tears. Yes, during this week we ponder about the ultimate sacrifice Jesus Christ did for every single one of us, giving away His life so that those of us who recognize Him as our Lord and Savior can enjoy eternal life by His side. During Easter, we are reminded that He not only gave away His life, in sacrificial atonement, but on the third day He resurrected, defeating sin and death. But, why did this had to happen? As with most other important truths, we must go back to the beginning in order the fully understand what happened. In Genesis 3:6-7 we see the fall of man, giving into the temptation of eating the forbidden fruit, which seemed “good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable... Continue reading
