Hey Wil, Even if some people view it as being a jerk, you are human just like everyone else; just like everyone else when you feel like your integrity is in play you defend it. Just chalk it up to foot-in-mouth syndrome. I think the statements he made were rude and stupid but I also think that he did not convey himself properly and it just spiraled from there. I've had plenty of times when I've had foot-in-mouth syndrome and the aftermath is not fun. I think it shows your integrity and your "don't be a dickness(?)" when you gave us all a blog explaining what happened. Even though you owed no one an explanation, you still gave us one. You are the ultimate non-dick, ever!! :o)

Ok the very first and foremost thing I wanna say is that you're freakin awesome and your interaction with Jim was really good. The whole show for me this episode was ehh.... I'm sorry if that makes me a bad guy in the eyes of everyone, but I have recalled episodes where me an my husband have to pause the tv to get over laughing so hard. I'm sorry I am going against the crowd, but truthfully you just happened to be on a episode that seemed to us to be just okay. Just to clarify: YOU WERE REALLY GOOD, it was the episode that wasn't as great as it usually is. Just stating my opinion, don't throw a shoe at me please. *ducks*

-Wil, OMG, that just brought tears to my eyes seeing that. It's so awesome that even though you are loved and adored by many people you're still so humble about it. That must have been beyond awesome + radical = awesomical.

Hey Wil, I believe Riley sensed your sadness and wanted to comfort you. I believe any dog or cat (or any pet) can sense what we are feeling and so they respond in kind. Riley wanted to make you feel better and provide some comfort, so she got the things that made her happy in hopes that you could be comforted by the items. Keep your chin up Wil, I know it's hard, but you WILL get through this. My thoughts are with you guys.

Wil, I am so very sorry. :-( My stepdad had found a stray dog in the mountains one year and brought her home. She was ours for 9 years and then she got really sick. The doctor ended up making a house call and my parents buried her in the backyard and we were all crying our eyes out. You think that losing a pet will never affect you as much as losing a person, but most times it's almost or equally as hard. You know, its uncanny, but the dogs my parents have had were all found, and it seems to me that they KNOW and try to please us all the more. She knew how much you guys all loved her and you can never ask for more than that. So in honor of Ferris: "Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." (Ferris Bueller)

Now you know what you have to do right?? You have to play WoW now in real life. Although I don't know what to think of you vs. Felicia Day. Won't know who to root for. Speaking of Unicorns. Here's a youtube video I had found in passing, and it's really funny. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5im0Ssyyus and for more unicorn fun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFCSXr6qnv4 At first I didn't know what to think, but it's too weird to look away. Just thought I would share. I love Unicorns, even named my cat Unicorn. People always look at me weird when I tell them. Anyway, I don't think it's farting a rainbow, if it was a rainbow fart, or rainfart, the rainbow would have to be at the tail end of the Unicorn, this looks like it is at the end of the spine of the Unicorn. Just putting it all in perspective. Enjoy Charlie the Unicorn.

OMG!!!! Wil you....were....soo...scary!!! I really felt like I was not seeing the Wil Weaton from Star Trek or the Wil Weaton form PAX. In fact, you were NOT him. I'd be scared shiteless if I ran into the character you were. So evil, so physiologically freaky. I knew you were going to be on CM, but wow!!! You scared the crap outta me!!! Good going Wil!! It seemed like you had always played evil people your whole life, (which I know is not true.) And it was cool seeing the girl who played Abby too, I have recognized her from different things so that was cool seeing her. Anyways you were awesome. I bet it was a nice break from writing. Hope you do it some more. Now, if you exuse me, I gotta mess to clean up!! :-)

I LOVED the 80's!!! Yes, it was cheesy and everthing, but I loved that time. I love the time now with my husband and wouldn't trade it for anything, but the close 2nd would be my time in the 80's. In fact, don't laugh but I still wear white slouchy socks and slouch them. When I got my AA, my mom said she could tell where I was because I was wearing black shoes and white slouchy socks. That also brings me to something else, why the heck do people cringe when they hear a song from the 80s or 90's that they liked back then. If you liked it back then, why the heck shouldn't you like it now?! Don't be embarrassed, declare your love of Milli Vanilli, Vanilla Ice, and New Kids and a bevy of other songs that are cool. Sorry I ranted, I'm done. I digress.....I LOVE the 80's!!!

This is going to sound really stupid and half of me doesn't believe I'm going to say this, but are you aware that if you put Ryan after Nolan you get Nolan Ryan?? How stupid am I to point that out?? :-) Anyway, I'm glad you had fun with your family. GO FAMILY!!!

Me and my husband readily agree with all the stuff you say about it being a social activity. Maybe it's not the norm of what society tells us is a social activity, but whether it be board, video, computer, online or any other type of game out there the socialization is there. The level of socialization is up to the player. This kinda goes off on a tangent here but on that same subject of video games; all the anti-gamers that think violence in video games leads to violence in real life--WTF?? I guess I could see it if a really stupid, brainless parent lets a child who is too young to know the difference between fantasy and reality play a violent video game, but ultimately that's the "stupid parents" fault!!! All these "stupid parents" are taking the easy way out and blaming the games instead of their own inadequacy as parents. I mean, take movies for example, you wouldn't let your kid watch a R-Rated movie until a certain age, why not put the same restriction on video games. It makes me so mad, instead of blaming the video game industry why don't you try doing your Frakin' job!!! I'll probably have a lot of people mad at me for that, but I think it's true!!!

Hey, This is my first time commenting. I got three t-shirts at PAX, the 3rd shirt I waited all weekend to buy because I wasn't sure I would wear it. My friends (guys of course) convinced me to get it. It's a shirt with "Yes, they're natural" and 2d20's in thehmm....chest area. I got convinced that it's all just in fun. So I got it. Again Will thank you so much for your speech and being so gracious to everybody. Thanks.
