You are amazing!!!! I miss you roomie!
girl talk
My first day at Girls’ Life Magazine started, like any other first day at a new job, as kind of a mess. When I woke up at 9:00, I looked in the mirror on my way to the bathroom – and found that my bangs were flipped straight out in the air. I guess they were still a bit wet when I went to sle...
Great post Wafa. Seriously, I don't think you'll ever fail at blog posting. :-)
Try Again. Fail again. Fail Better.
Love the moment. Flowers grow out of dark moments. Therefore, each moment is vital. It affects the whole. Life is a succession of such moments and to live each, is to succeed. -Corita Kent The students of Hopkins Interactive constantly attempt to effectively show prospective students what it...
Another great post Tyler. Seriously, few of us have written about Baltimore at all. You're right, Baltimore definitely adds even more opportunities to a Hopkins education and I'm glad you're getting involved (and listening to Obama).
Turning Guilt to Something More Productive
Posted by: Tyler D. I have always had problems with guilt. Maybe it's because I was raised Catholic and Sister Joelle would just not leave me alone. Maybe it is because I have been so privileged. Either way, every time I return to Baltimore I am greeted with a huge reminder of my good fortune. ...
Great post Dominique. Concentrate on your greatness--three As! Lots of people would love those. And you challenged yourself Dominique,I reward you for stepping foot in an Orgo class. I too got my worst grade this semester and realized that you just have to take a deep breath and move on. In the grand scheme of things, just remind yourself that it won't really matter. As you said, it's only a grade. Enjoy break!
You Can't Win
Posted by Dominique D. Let me just apologize in advance for what’s going to be a long blog, but it’s something that I feel needs to be addressed, as I reflect on my semester. (And yes, the title is yet another MJ song from the musical The Wiz...an African-American version of The Wizard of Oz. :...
This is adorable! Love it!
Reading Period Procrastination
Posted by Sarah S. To all the ED admits: CONGRATULATIONS. This really is a huge accomplishment for you all, and you should be so excited to come to Hopkins next year. Don’t forget to enjoy the rest of your senior year though. That shouldn’t be too hard considering that you don’t have to stres...
Oh Lauren, you are simply amazing. Please visit Northern NJ.
this time, i'll be bulletproof
Even though final exams are enough to make a Hopkins student ready for winter break, I am unusually relieved this semester is over and very excited for spring semester to begin. For a number of reasons, fall semester was extremely hard. I started the school year on a really great note with a b...
I wish people commented on my blog.... Not like this is jealousy or anything.
Live Blogging on ED Notification Day (Class of 2014)
Good day Early Decision applicants. The tradition of live blogging on decision notification days continues today with the release of our Early Decision notifications for the Class of 2014. As I have done the previous few years, I will be "micro-blogging" throughout the day to provide you all wit...
Hey Tiffany,
My suggestion would be to start a thread on the message board(and to look through them for the advice we have already given): http://z14.invisionfree.com/Hopkins_Forums/index.php?showforum=7
That will be the easiest way for the group to get back.
Thanks,
Jessica
A Reflection
Posted by Jessica K. I visited Johns Hopkins for the first time during the fall of my junior year in high school. Although my mom by June of the next year had decided that every school was beginning to look the same and blend together, I still have a few distinct memories of each college tha...
As always, amazing.
You better work (covergirl)
Posted by Tyler D. During my modeling days, I learned quite a few things. For one, I am much better looking than Gisele Bundchen. For two, being beautiful is really difficult. And for three, it's all about attitude, girl! This .... vs. .... This I think it is obvious who is better ...
Your pictures are AMAZING.
Rehoboth Beach!
Posted by Greco S. Hey, guys! So I went to the Open House this morning to help out the admissions crew and it ended up being a very interesting experience. It’s really odd to think that I was once like you prospees about a year ago—I was in the same place, all confused and nervous about the wh...

"Why they could percolate the ocean in Brazil"
Other than the fact that it took me 5 minutes to realize why Brazil wasn't spelled Brasil (it's with an s in Portuguese), I found this song that actually fits my mood perfectly. Oh Frank Sinatra...
