Now that we've had a chance to catch our breath from the launch of Expert Labs, it's a good time to take a quick look at how this new initiative has been received. Here are a few early reports on our effort from across the web: Wired: "Crowdsourcing Social Networks to Inform Public Policy" Dash said the goal of the Expert Labs incubator is not create a new social network, but to “us[e] open web technologies [to] make it easy for policy makers and scientists to connect with one another using the web sites and programs they’re already familiar with”...

So I am going to try and pull the trigger on (what I consider) a huge blog move this Holiday weekend. I have decided to bail on my self hosted WordPress space to move to TypePad. I have no idea how to really do this for several reasons ... the first is that I would like to point my domain at TypePad. This isn't the bad part, its that I have at least 6 years of digital media sitting on my existing host that will somehow need to just work when I get the whole import and domain stuff worked...

"Longs' Horseradish is a small family owned horseradish company from Pennsylvania. We made these as a part of our contribution to the 2009 One Show Collage Competition. The basic idea is to bring back the old method of crafting horseradish that once upon a time gave horseradish its name.
