Searching... I think until they have a solid plan in place that they are happy with (if only the repulicans would have been willing to negotiate and discuss what it needs to have) they could possibly have had a good break down of the costs already.

I knew you would agree on that. Just think that there is so many places that we could pull the money from to offer quality health care to US Citizens. There's alot of bloat and wasted money in the US government and some simple trimming would make a difference. I would first like to see how it will be paid for. I have no issues with paying a similar cost to what I do for health care with work.

You'll be out 50% of your paycheck? Really? You honestly believe that? I can't blame one to be concerned, but lets first see a hard plan in place with them showing exactly how it will be paid for before we make any claims that 50% of your paycheck will be gone from that. I don't approve of the war in Iraq, but many who are against health care are all for military spending and billions on a war we didn't need to be a part of. I'm paying for that with my taxes which I don't approve of. I'd rather put that money into providing health care for our citizens instead of fighting a war we didn't need to be in.

And searching, I think it's a crime when people who have no understanding of the true costs of the plan spread lies and misinformation denying us a path to improve our quality of health care. Ok.. maybe not paula... How about they bring on someone like Britney Spears in a Bikini?

Searching, make sure that you make one sign for me and hold it up when all the cameras are going off by the media and have it say "Obama, please bring Paula back to American Idol". Or maybe "I came to DC and all I got was this lousy Sign"

Yes Searching, it is a complete disaster in so many of those other countries that have a government run program/option that many of them are rated higher quality for less money than what we spend now here in the US. So yea, I guess by disaster meaning that it's less expensive per capita than we are now and they have a higher quality health care it makes sense to me. ;) I will admit that the current plan is a jumbled mess with alot of good in it, but alot that we don't need in it and in some cases it doesn't go near far enough. And I agree on the whole term limits for congress critters. There is no reason why someone should just sit back and collect huge checks from the lobbyists and run on the policies that line their pockets the most while campaigning for a different message.

I'm for abortion and for the death penalty. I guess you could say that yes, I am for Death Panels.
