Wow, that is seriously moving. I'm around Nolan's age, and to hear a step father think/speak so highly of his kids is just.....awesome! I have a step father myself and I could not love him more. Like how you described Nolan and Ryan's way of communicating, I too use that 'youth' language. I often wonder if he knows what I'm 'really' saying, but I think he does. So to hear you understand their....our....lingo is really cool. :) PS - I recently purchased Just A Geek, and am almost finished. I read it on the train on the way to work, and today I got A LOT of weird looks because I could not stop laughing at what you wrote. Only book that's EVER made me do that! *Pat on the back for Wil Wheaton*

Looking through the pictures from Atom Moore, you and your family all look like you had an awesome time. Lots of smiling faces! A lot of close ups, which is hard for anyone to look good in, but my your wife is beautiful. The Cruise looks like it was really fun. Can't wait to read what you'll write about it. :) Jx

I've been worrying about this for hours. When I said "solely on writing" it was meant to mean that, you will always have a large trekkie fan base, but now you have a large fan base for your writing too. It wasn't meant to sound like I wasn't a fan of your acting.I probably didn't affend you, but it's playing on my mind so just wanted to clear it up and put my mind at ease. But I live in the UK, so the time difference meant I missed your post. I was was going to ask if you ever come to the UK for appearances etc? It's a long shot I know. Absolutely spend your time with your friends and family. Your dedication to stay connected to your internet fans is awesome, but taking time for yourself is a must, so I wish you a lovely time on the cruise and a happy new year! xx J

Hi, new to your blog, sucks that I've missed so much (due to being unaware of your blog) because it's amazing, can't get off of it. Purchased 'Just A Geek" today. Again, I'm fairly behind, oh well.
