Internet Freedom: We Can All Agree on This
Back when Congressman Akin and I served in the Missouri State House together, he was not known for being the biggest tech guy, but he definitely is a lover of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights specifically, even teaching in depth seminars on America's founding. So the patriot adapted, in the true meaning of the "living breathing Constitution. Internet Freedom is a Constitutionally proetected right, no matter what a leftist wants to tell you. disclaimer:I am certain the other two Senate candidates, Sarah Steelman and John Brunner would agree. Akin leads letter to Sec. Clinton opposing U.N. regulation of... Continue reading

Two Great Tastes That Taste Great Together
McGraw Milhaven is an iconic St. Louis media personality, and Dave Stokes, of the Show Me Institute is becomming a top pundit of center right thought in Missouri. Together, they will bring to the greater St. Louis area (AM550 has a huge reach spanning across most of the Show Me State) a weekly update of capitalist thought at a time that it is sorely needed. This will be great radio. Stokes will no doubt use the take no prisoners, Show Me Institute style we respect and hit the issues hard without regard to whether Democrats or Republicans are acting contrary... Continue reading

Missouri Governor Race: From Good to Great
The reasons to replace Jax Nixon as Governor are numerous and valid, starting with his lockstep allegiance to public sector unions and opposition to the right to work, but those discussions are best held for another day. What is noteworthy in this cycle is that rather than the typical lineup of Republican politician versus Democrat politician, Congressman Lieutenant Governor or Auditor of one party versus Governor of the other, in this cycle, Missourians have tremendous and unusual options, any of whom hold the potential to be stellar leaders in stark contrast to the dearth of leadership from the play-it-safe Nixon.... Akin and Earmarks in Perspective
I will lead this with the most unequivocal disclaimer I can offer. As I have written before, all three candidates for Senator, Akin, Steelman and Brunner have credentials that should exite any true conservative and any one could be a great Senator, certainly as opposed to the pretender, Claire McCaskill. She is the one who endorsed Obama early over Hillary Clinton. For this reason, coupled with my sense that despite my long friendship with Todd and his amazing family, setting my personal bias aside, I cannot see a path to victory for the U.S. Senate for the less well-funded of... Who Will Control You?
The Blaze ran a story entitled "Is This Iowa High School Teaching Students Communism Is Better Than Capitalism? See the Flyer". The article posts a picture that is clearly propaganda for communism but the school principal defends that they were using it as an example of propaganda and that the whole lesson plan is objective. This is a fair point, but wrong. The school, the teacher, the principal, all are unequipped by the sorry state of civics education to even know leftist propaganda when they see it. The most offensive part of the lesson is not the picture, it is... Continue reading

Gubernatorial Candidate Bill Randles on Governor Nixon's Speech
Because you probably won't see this candidate's response in any other media: Randles Responds to Nixon's State-of-the-State Address Liberty, Mo., January 18th, 2012 -- Bill Randles released a written statement today in response to Governor Jay Nixon's State of the State address given last night. "Last night Jay Nixon delivered his fourth State of the State Address. It was simply more of the same failed policies that have placed Missouri near the bottom in every measure. His governorship has been one of failure in every category. He claims Missouri is a business-friendly state, but a study released by the U.S.... Continue reading

Axiomatic Genius
A good Jewish friend of mine once answered my question as to why Jews voted so consistently for Democrats despite the abysimal record of Democrats regarding Israel. All he could say was that their ratio of real intelligence to political intelligence represented the greatest deviation possible. I just received this from my friend Gary Silverman. If you are seeking a finanical planner, I will be happy to connect you and reward him for sharing this gem. An economics professor (sic) made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That... Continue reading
