Thank you Ysabelle. The photo in Panic to Peace did not show Figaro at his best! There many other photos of him in my blog that do, though. Sent from my iPhone... Jo Lynne

You are so welcome, but who are you? I have several friends with sons named Andrew & can't figure out which of them you are from your identification at the end of the comment! :)
HAH! Vindication! Thanks, Paul, for so graciously conceding. And for so loyally reading.
Laurie, thanks for the idea on Kentuck Knob. I had not heard of it and I will defintely add that to the itinerary when we go over there the next time. I went to its website. Looks like a real find. Since I've been to Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob it will be next time.
Jack, the interior of the Summit was very cool, but I tend to forget that I should bring a good camera with a decent flash and my iphone doesn't capture interiors as well. I love your description "gorgeous old pile." Captures it perfectly!
Jack, I don't know what a Sufi is but it probably rhymes with goofy and THAT's what I think of my dogs, and thus the closest they'll ever get to mystical! Glad you read and enjoyed. Thanks.

Oh, Bambi, I like the Movie "Evan Almighty," and now I'll have to watch it again with your comment in mind! As for the book by Silko, I may just have to give that a try. Thanks for the suggestion. And thanks for liking this post so much...I was doubtful of its worth. My husband called it cute. You called it inspiring. It is amazing the breadth of opinion!

Jeff, That hotel was The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island in Lake Michigan. Now that you've mentioned it, and brought it back to mind, I MUST make arrangements for a long weekend there! And Joan: What is your 1st favorite time of year?
Thanks, Paul. It sure helps to have a program like Picasa to straighten and tweek your pictures! But I do love to memorialize my travels with my camera. Especially now that I have the iPhone. I may have to upgrade to the iPhone 4 soon, which boasts its biggest changes in the features of its camera.
You guys have no idea how much better I feel when I hear those stories about what YOU put up with. Janis, living with the destruction, yeah, we develop blind spots. Jeff and Rayna, I've been there. That cement poop is really hard to clean. I've gotten out of bed many a time and stepped right into a sopping wet spot or some slime. We learn to hop on one foot real well, don't we? Things we do for our four legged family members! Gotta live with them, can't live without them. Thanks for your support!
Yeah, I know, I cheated... Sold out just to get a catchy title!
Either way, Jeffrey, they speak English!

Paul, John & I hope to actually go to Vancouver someday. But it will be hard for me when I get there to stick to the plan to visit Vancouver and not just go back to Vancouver Island! It won't be hard for John, because he loves vacationing in Cities whereas I prefer the country. One day, we'll get there!
TakinCharge: I know I would if I were her. And the idea of the convertible is especially appealing now...today the sun was shining, the sky was blue...too bad it was still only in the 30s! I have a rule...the top doesn't go down unless it is at least 59.

Ken, Thank you! I agree (about the picture and about perhaps one of these days!) But If I ever do it again, I'd never do moret than 2 at a time!

Janis, That is exactly what I thought (about my parents!) So I figure no one has an excuse for not signing up to follow me!

Church Lady, Really? 5:00 a.m.?? Really??? But I just can't seem to get up that early! I thought reading my Bible at 7:00 every morning would get me into heaven. Am I wrong??? Have all these years of Bible reading at 7:00 a.m. been for naught? God forbid! What's a God-fearing sinner to do?
I can't wait to hear more!!! Give it to us, God!

What uplifting and encouraging comments! Thank you so much, Judith! You made my day! And thank you for reminding me that "The more you open your heart to them the more loyal and receptive they become." I tend to take their loyalty and receptiveness for granted, but you are so right. And the evolution of the communication with these little guys never ends.
