Wil, I paid little attention for half of high school, and then turned it on the last two years. I went to two community colleges and then dropped out to work full-time. You know what? My job isn't my dream job, but I really don't mind it, and it's going to take care of me when I'm old. I agree with what you said, and as one of those guys who didn't work that hard in high school and didn't bother to even finish community college, I can't complain, because I made the choices that led me to my current station in life. I'm comfortable with it, so it's not a bad thing, but if I wasn't, I'd have no good reason to complain.
