To your point about tensions, in both of our reports, our focus was not on conflict, but on opportunities for intercultural dialogue. That said, we about as many examples of conflict and tension as you might expect in a world mirroring the physical world. But there was no possibility of physical violence. Take this protest we documented in which people were peacefully protesting the conflict between Israel and Palestinians in the Gaza strip. http://www.theimaginationage.net/2008/12/dozens-gather-in-second-life-to-protest.html ... The protests were frustrating to some readers. But no lives were lost because of it.
