Celtics fans are the biggest assholes. Here's a guy that helped bring the team to two NBA Finals and in 2010 he became the anchor in the paint when Kevin Garnett fell to injury. And this is the thanks he gets? Not only is he getting paid, but he's also doing it on a FAR BETTER TEAM!!!!! Think about that when u root for Brandon Bass and the rest of your washed up over the hill Celtics team.

I doubt that Pietrus will have any real impact on the roster. he's not that great a shooter and has lost a step as well in terms of being a lock down perimeter defender.

The Celtics in general are running out of gas. getting rid of Perk was the biggest mistake Danny Ainge has ever made--even bigger than trading Brandon Roy to the Portland Trailblazers for Sebastien Telfair.

I'm sorry, but JO is washed up. Sure he does a odd block here and there, but he can't stay on the floor more than 20 minutes. You said that "JO reminded us all again on Friday night that when healthy and engaged, his defensive value in the middle to this team is invaluable." Too bad is his neither healthy nor engaged. What's worse is he is the best option in the pivot for Boston.

Pacers fan longing for Jermaine O'Neal? That's funny considering the fact that they were more than happy to see him go.

It's very sad if you ask me when you see a team like the Nets that have lost their three best players to injury and all Celtics could muster is 89 points.

NJ goes in w/o 3 of its best players. not looking good at all.

Nice to see that despite his advanced age, Paul Pierce still has it.

It's only been one game. You can't reallt tell that he has the goods in just one game. he's certainly better than O Neal that's for sure.

Wilcox is not that better than O'Neal. Instead of a hasbeen, he's a neverwas.

Hopefully Paully that's the case because Rajon cannot continue to pick up your slack (LOL)

t's the lack of depth that's really killing them. Ainge should have never let go of Perkins.

The reason why Boston lost was because of its lack of depth and them being extremely thin in the front court. Listen, getting rid of Perk was a bad idea--we all know that. That Knicks game proved it.

I was shocked to see daniels even on the roster. I thought he was done after that collapse he had last season,.

Cuban's making a bad move if he lets go of Fernandez and Brewer for JO. that would be downright foolish. JO is way past his prime and it was stupid of the Celtic to use the FULL MLE on his decripid a$$. Rudy and Corey are two quality players the Mavs can build on for the future. Rudy will definately step in to replace caron Butler's production and in Brewer, I can literally see "the next Scottie Pippen." He's an excellent defender and can run an offense and play off the ball as well. Hopefully, his coach and GM will see that.

Delonte's career looked promisingh when he was paired up with Mo Williams in Cleveland until his professional and persoal lives went in a tail spin. Now West faces an uphill battele trying to regain what little reputation he has as a solid player. Then he was hampered by injuries and disciplinary measures making him look like a team parriah. I'm surprised with his reputation that he is still with the Celtics.
