I actually tried to learn HTML and coding a few years ago. As a graphic designer, I felt like I needed it and I had a good friend telling me it was direction I needed to go. I went to seminars, bought 4 different books, read and studied and tried to do it. Nope. I hated every minute of it. Hated it. I'm a creative / artsy / writing kind of person. Not a math / science kind of person. I just couldn't wrap my brain around it so I gave up. I think I'll just find the best TypePad template I can find and customize as much as possible. :-)

Hey Cathy - Just curious how you like TypePad for your blog and if yours is one of their templates or a custom design. I've had my blog on Vox but they're shutting down so I'm moving to TypePad because it allowed me to import all my previous posts. BUT -- as a graphic designer, I'm feeling almost "trapped" (and, actually, kind of freaking out) because I don't like any of the templates they offered and I want to have a little control over how it looks, ya know?
