We spent countless hours feeding, rocking, reading, sleeping in this chair. The footstool has seen many a dressing time, lots of cars, and served as a table at time - very versatile ;-) The head piece comes off easily for easy sleeping while rocking for shorter folks. Birch and bone/off-white... Continue reading

I've been saying this awhile, but it's high time we moved stuff out that was saved for a second child that isn't happening. Here are few things ready to go (or close, as noted there might be some spot cleaning needed): Wonderful adjustable chair that grows with your child. You... Continue reading

I would love to take Regina's class! I have popped in to her blog many times over the years and recently started following her on Instagram. She (along with you) are inspiring. I am trying to reawaken some dormant creativity and trying to reincorporate doodling/drawing/self expression into my weekly life. "...let go of any expectations and worries that your faces won't look a certain way and just be open to learning and enjoying the process..." is perfect for me and what I need. Thanks for the opportunity!

Last Sunday was communion. T and I whispered about what to do as he hadn't been to communion Sunday in a while. At our Presbyterian church everyone stays in their seats and the elders of the church serve the congregation by passing plates of bread and trays holding tiny cups... Continue reading

One of my second cousins is getting married December 1st in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I've been worried about what to wear since I learned of it. Cocktail rehearsal party, wedding, day after brunch - South Florida - beautiful stylish people ... I haven't been to a wedding since 2003 and... Continue reading

I feel compelled, as I have many times over the last many months, to write a tiny explanation of my absence from this space. Writing this blog was supposed to be a way to: share the growth of my son and the fun and not so fun things he said... Continue reading

Just a quick little thought...it's supposedly that fertile time of the month. My body is primed and my boobs are sore. Last week, Tuesday in fact, my Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor jumped from one line to two, indicating High Fertility. I nearly jumped for joy, as I was starting... Continue reading

When T became a real presence in my belly and my stuff was moved out of the third bedroom to make room for the nursery, some of it went to the living room. The love seat, the club chair, and their off white denim. It was then that I first... Continue reading

I'm at another milestone. One year ago about this time I got pregnant with blueberry girl. I realized this morning that I have a couple more milestones approaching before I am through this first year of mourning. I had thought I might have trouble with the miscarriage at due date... So believe it or not, I've actually lost a tiny bit of weight. I'm still too heavy, but I have been feeling a little bit better. I had a trip on the town planned for some time and it came up Saturday. I had no idea what to wear, but... Continue reading

Picked up the week four CSA box today and this is what I found: Plus some chocolate chip pumpkin muffins - yum! Apparently the dried corn is popping corn which should be interesting to try. I made vegetable chicken noodle soup tonight with among other things, radish, delicata squash, sweet... Continue reading

Got my period today. However, that means there can still be hope. Hope is good. My acupuncturist last week made me nervous. He asked me how the week had been emotionally. He said my pulses felt much different than they ever had - they felt dead. He said it felt... Continue reading

The overlap was small and we only got to see one of my sisters, but we made it to my Dad and Step-mom's before the beach weather was gone. A three day weekend was almost enough to make the 7+ hour drive okay; course B did all the driving once... Continue reading

[photo to come] I picked up our first CSA box today with excitement and a bit of trepidation. Would there be tons of collards? Would there be too much squash? Too many peppers? While we are swimming in peppers now, it is not too bad. The box had apples, bell... Continue reading
