Speaking as a once shy nerdy kid, I loved this article so much. I worked at a library in high school- while most kids were flipping burgers, I was flipping pages. I reshelved books mostly, but loved pointing patrons in the right direction of a desired volume. And if I ran out of books, I would curl up in a corner and read. Best job ever.
