Monday....and it's February 1. Another month has ended and now I must begin to plan for Valentine's Day merchandising. It's funny how much work and effort go into Valentine's Day. My thought is that if you love someone then everyday could and should be just like Valentine's Day. Don't you agree? Oh well, such are the thoughts in my head this morning. So, back to antiques, etc. I went out again this past weekend to try and find some product to sell at my booths at Camas Antiques. Boy, did I discover some great stuff. Ttime to get up and start working. Here's just a sample of what type of work I do. This chair was a "trade" with another vendor at a vintage faire. It was in a world of hurt, painted black with only rough burlap for upholstery. Well, after I worked it over it now is a beautiful light grey with a wonderful french linen seat cover. Well, well....blogging is a new thing for me. Somewhat of a virgin blogger, if you will. I'm going to give it my best shot, however, so here goes. I've been up since 5:00 AM dropping my husband off at the times. Now the dilema was to pick sleep or stay awake and try to accomplish something in the wee hours. Guess I'll stay up and work.
