The thing that kept bothering me throughout the film was not so much the number of state-of-the art vehicles at their disposal, but rather that they had no problem coming up with the fuel to run them. I also had to LOL at the Sony device used during the break-in, not to mention the heart transplant being done in the open air. There was simply no attempt to make anything about the movie remotely plausible.
In the earlier films, there were just a few key concepts presented early on that you had to accept (like time travel, and the whole liquid metal thing), and generally everything after that was made to fit within that fictional reality.
This one just kept making up the rules as it went along.
I enjoyed the action in the film, but I found all the implausibilities very distracting.
