That sounds wonderful and would probably work for most, but I find I am hypersensitive to sugar substitutes and they do raise my blood sugar. Sugar substitutes set off cravings for me too, just like sugar.
The 'ice cream' I ate was actually a frozen yogurt, but not sugar free. I just didn't eat too much and put healthy toppings on it like coconut & banana slices.
As of today, January 18th, I have not eaten sugar since the start of the new year and I feel good.
First Crash & Greek Yogurt
I've had great morning blood sugars lately of around 100, but this morning I had my first crash since I've been on this Primal Diet. Now I'm wondering if I should lower my basal rate (10 units a day, .45 units per hour) all day or just at night or whether I am bolusing too much for my evening me...
