Kudos to MedicineNet.Com for including adhesions-scar tissue-as a possible cause of pelvic pain. See: Scar Tissue Continue reading
What is worse than suffering abdominal pain? The doctor who tells you nothing is wrong. Adhesions are a common condition, most often the result of surgery. Adhesions cause internal organs to fuse together. These bands of scar tissue elude the... Continue reading

To the readers of this blog, as well EndoGyn: It seems nothing in this present world is simple-not even fighting illness. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair.2 Corinthians 4: Susan... Continue reading

Remember the 80's Wendy's commercial when a brazen granny asked, "Where's the beef?" Just like a hamburger chain that throws out huge pieces of bread to give an appearance of value for your purchase while skimping on the beef, the... Continue reading

Some things should be easy, right? I think so. But, when I wanted to burn a voice recording from my iphone to a CD, I encountered problems. After searching the internet, I encountered more problems, i.e, frustration! (You know it's not going to be easy when someone has displayed a visual to explain all the steps you must follow in order to accomplish the task at hand.) Giving up on that explanation and still not finding a simple solution, I went back to my computer and continued to explore on my own. Within about ten minutes, I accomplished the desired... After seeing the gal with LipStix Remix on Shark Tank, I decided to order her product. LIPSTIX It has always bugged me to throw away a tube of lipstick when I can clearly see a substantial amount of product remains below. Yes, I am from the waste-not-want-not era. I do have my limits, however. You won't find me washing aluminum foil for reuse, nor will I search hours on end for the burned out bulb in a string of Christmas lights. Sorry. In fact, just last week I was trying to sort through a huge mess of mismatched socks, when... Continue reading

Pain management. In the USA, pain management has become a commonplace "prescription" for those who suffer from adhesions, as well as many other debilitating illnesses. At one time in history, "pain management" meant medications prescribed to enable one to rest... Continue reading

Most women who have endometriosis are rarely informed of the subesequent factor: adhesion formation. Why should you care? Because, adhesions-scar tissue-can be a far greater debilitating factor in many cases that have been diagnosed as "endometriosis". The following video does... Continue reading

Really Thomas?! Yes, he wanted it all on his birthday cake: Motocross, Star Wars, Army Men and Monster Trucks! Yikes. I had no idea how to incorporate it all, but finally came up with a plan. He loved his birthday cake! I've always loved doing dirt cakes, as they don't have to be so perfect and it is fun to run the tires through the muddy-looking icing. A camouflage piece of cake was the setting for the Army Men and I placed a royal blue mound on top of the camouflage and scattered sparkly black sprinkles on top for Darth... Continue reading

Who knew Nabisco's secret to the brilliantly white filling in an Oreo Cookie is achieved by the addition of titanium? I didn't. I have to admit, as someone who has mixed together more than my fair share of buttercream icings, I often wondered how Oreo achieved the stunningly white results that are sandwiched between two dark cookies. Well, now I know. Dang. And to think I purchase Wilton's clear vanilla extract in order to maintain as much of a white appearance as possible when mixing ingredients for buttercream icing. (If only I had known I just needed to add some... Continue reading
