I just purged my previous blog posts. I deemed them un-interesting and rather dated (broken links and whatnot). Since I don't have a large (or any) readership here, I'm hoping to make this a place to just post things that... Continue reading

Wil, I had the privilege of meeting Phil Plait at Dragon*Con last year and listened to him try to explain to a very rowdy room just what exactly a "parsec" was. Fun times!! I have a signed copy of Bad Astronomy that I really enjoyed reading so was very glad to see you and Phil make a connection. :) Can't wait for his next book and hopefully I'll be able to get it signed, too! Wil, While I'm not a big fan of poker, I still enjoy reading about it when you write it. Maybe this is actually the worst thing one could say to a writer, but sometimes it's not what you're writing about, it's HOW you're writing it. Your giddy excitement about all things poker comes through clearly and it's exciting to read about it. We all have things in our lives that we get giddy about. Not all of us are as talented as you are when it comes to portraying that excitement in the written word. Keep up the excellent work - I'll still be reading. :)

Having grown up mostly in Oklahoma, I have to say I'm not surprised by this. This is the state where tattoing and the sale of tattoo paraphernalia (including magazines) is illegal. God am I glad I got out!!!
