agreed! and for each person who is a negative nelly, there will be 2 more positive pam's to take their place! I used to get negative and snide comments when I first started blogging about 5 years ago and I really had to let people know that my blg is for me and my family and that the crafty stuff I share is really just an added bonus....they either like or not :) Keep doing your thing and newbies like me will come :):)

I agree with all you've said-but I gotta say that not all the "well knowns" are friendly like you-some of them are very snotty and would never associate with "non-published" regulars (trust me, this is what I hear from my friends)...I wish the industry would mix up the talent but don't get me started! I try to maintain that balance-yes I want to be published more, bit damn, it is stressful creating stuff for them so I limit what I submit to every other year. I still wish you'd come back in some form :):)

I just found 3 books similar to #4 in a junking store back in November and if you can believe it, I paid 40 CENTS a book! I plan on deconstructing them (gasp now) and scrapping a mini baby book (like SMASH) for each kid and then one of me & hubs together as art for the living room. They were obviously part of a set and I walked around the store making sure there were no more LOL
