What a beloved and blessed friend you are to her! I know, I had a former employee who lost her daughter totally unexpectedly, out of the blue, at age 41. No known cause of death, perfectly healthy according to the coroner but dead. I knew right away that the help I could offer immediately was putting together the story board for her daughter's memorial service. I was so thankful that I had something concrete to offer because everyone wants to help but what can you do and my offer was instantly accepted. And she told me it was so great to have people offer to do something specific because in her loss and grieving she could not ask for help or even think of what was needed. I will help her in a few months with a scrapbook of her daughter's life, as she left behind a 7 year old daughter (grand-daughter to my friend). That is absolutely why we scrapbook and do journaling in our own handwriting! Aloha, Kate

Teresa- So sorry that this incident happened to your daughter. It is good for her to know that her coach is paying attention and dealing with bad behavior when it comes along. I do think contacting the school is a good idea and let them know that they have parents who need to model better behavior. Picking on someone because they are someone you can bully is not right. I love your new Spooktacular collection. Of course my birthday is Halloween so I am a little biased towards anything to do with Halloween. I have to say my most favorite Halloween papers are the set you did for Junkitz, probably two years ago. Sorry your remodel is going so south. Yes, I always ask for references for any contractor and I talk to at least three of them before deciding whether to go with a contractor or not. You have to listen for those pregnant pauses when people hesitate to tell you what they think, because they don't want to say anything bad about someone. I have been incredibly lucky, though, after doing the fact checking to never having a horrid experience. Basically if I hear one bad thing they are off the list. If I hear nothing but good with no pregnant pauses, they get the job.

I usually do cereal for breakfast, in a hurry or not for weekdays. Keeps it simple! A little fruit on top (strawberries, raspberries, whatever is in season from my garden) and some milk and good to go! Kate

I woke up today to a very nice card from my husband and a gift certificate to iTunes. My husband and I both play music and sing, he plays guitar and I play mandolin. I gave him a I love my honey bear because he loves his honey every morning with his cup of tea. We love making music togther!
