Cook is a combo guard only in size, he in reality is a shooting guard. Murray has the ability to play both guard spots. I would much rather him on the team than having to deal with another season of Chris Quinn not playing any defense.

What about Flip Murray? The guy was effective for Atlanta all season as a third guard off the bench. He might not be your prototypical distributing guard, but he can handle the ball well enough to setup the offense. His main asset is being able to put the ball in the hoop, which is something we could sure use off of the bench. Sign him to a 1 year veteran minimum and our backcourt is set.
