"Again, Ross wants people working together and signing kumbaya in harmony." Are you a professional or what? I so hope you mean "singing", because "signing" means something totally different and I don't think the organization is focused solely on the Helen Keller Target Audience.

Mando, This behavior is typical of corporate America today. I can't believe that any fan cares about what happens behind the scenes as long as the team wins. If the team wants to hire just a personnel guy/girl then I would be happy if they would just make Philbin the GM answering to Aponte. This way, if the team continues to lose games, they both get canned for failure and Ross looks like an idiot from the fans perspective.

Nolan Carroll couldn't cover a cup of water if it was handed to him. Sherman couldn't game plan even if Bill Walsh gave him the game plan. Coyle is an over thinker, and Philbin simply is an executive and not a coach. Now none of this true if these players are subpar, but then again that means the talent evaluators for this club are pretty bad. You guys tell me which it is>

Mando, Great write-up. It seems Ireland has talent evaluation issues and both coordinators have talent usage issues. Jordan is a great example of what I mean. If Ireland's evaluation of him was/is correct, than Coyle is wasting the talent by not playing the kid. If Ireland's evaluation of him was/is incorrect than the team waste the #3 overall pick. Now I ask you which one is it? I personally believe the team's issues have to do with a little of both. Why does Ireland persist in drafting players with a know injury history (Jordan, Taylor, Davis)? Why does Philbin not make changes in the middle of a game when he sees Sherman going off the deep end like the Jets game? I really can't stand Sherman as a coordinator. His past suggests that he has failed at all levels of coaching since his Green Bay days and one could make the case that he single handedly wrecked that team. Neither Coyle, Sherman, or Philbin have shown the public that they have the ability to make changes or adapt during the course of a game, and THAT is what makes this team so bad.

Sherman is an absolute JOKE!

The run game failed because Sherman tends to overthink things. He is not as smart as he wants other people to believe. The run game works when you put Tannehill under center and use the play action! It does not work when you put the QB in the pistol or shotgun formation because our linemen can't block! So Sherman, instead of game planning just sticks to his usual bland and unimaginative play calling. Coyle is the same way as far as I am concerned. If Rex Ryan is canned after this season, the Dolphin's organization should show us fans just how dedicated to winning they really are by singing Rex to be the defensive coordinator. Also inform him to jus shut up and coach the defense up!

How can you go into a game, if you are a player, and play like this team did? The defense STILL can't tackle, and they can't because the coaches emphasized stripping the ball when they should have emphasized TACKLING. This coaching staff sucks.
So let me get this straight......Sherman thinks Miller should have more explosive runs with only 22 carries? Really? What Sherman fails to recognize is he is the play designer, and as such should be designing plays that also get Miller the ball in space. Sherman's below average play calling and design were again on display yesterday, and blaming Miller by stating that he should have had more explosive plays shows the world just how small and restricted this offense coordinator's thought process really is.

On defense, I believe the problem is not the D-line at all, but is the zone coverage scheme. Now, I am not against it but you have to mix your coverage's up. Play some press now and then, when it makes sense, it should make it easier to disguise some corner and safety blitz packages.

Somebody please tell Sherman "If I was the General Manager I would cut you today!!!!" ;)

Mando, Great analysis! I think Sherman puts Tannehill in the shotgun too much, which limits play action fakes. This in turn tells the defense and other coaches what the Offense is going to do to a certain extent. Put the QB under center and design for him some consistent play action and I think the offense would thrive I also think that at this stage of the season they should make the double tight end set the base formation, like New England, and use Egnew and Sims more often, with Miller as the long back. These two are bigger than Clay and can block better. Let these two feel the heat of the game and they may just develop into a great tandem. These coaches and staff do not have the best history at developing players.

Mando, Please ask Tannehill if he would rather take a hit during a sack or while running for positive yardage? I would like him to run for positive yardage instead of just throwing it away but I think the coaches have him too afraid to run and improvise, like Wilson and RGIII and Luck does. He is athletic enough to run for positive yards.

I find Martin's grade to be a joke. I say this because Incognito was shown totally whiffing on a block during a replay. He also gave up two sacks, so how does Martin get the worst grade?

Why does Sherman not see that putting Tannehill in the shotgun hurts play action passes?

Sherman had better be let go after this game!

Would the coaching staff please tell Tannehill that if a play breaks down he has the option to run!!!!!

Does it look like Miller has separated himself now Sherman? Why haven't we seen Dion Jordan ?

This coaching staff has no passion, creativity, or guile.

Tannehill can't run for a 2 yard first down and the defense can't stop a 3rd down and 15. Enough said! This team is in trouble.

OK, now I am a Will Davis fan. He showed a level of professionalism rarely scene in any player now days, let a lone a rookie. I sincerely hope he makes this team/

I am more concerned with Sherman's play design and play calling then I am with Tannehill. After all there is a reason he was booted out of the NFL and out of Green Bay as well. BTW, even the great QBs tend to miss wide open recievers from time to time.

Can you say Dawn Aponte

I like the list but I get this feeling that Charles Clay and Javorski Lane are gone.

I have been following the dolphins since 1971. I have to admit that there sure seems to be a different vibe coming from the whole organization this year. I am again excited about the upcoming season, a feeling I have not had in a long time!
