Hmm, I wouldn't want to be part of a group that you had to audition for. On the other hand, you can join my group Donna and I'll audition for you LOL! You know, it's just scrapbooking, isn't it supposed to be fun, why do people want to impose such rules or be so keen to shoot down our icons? Some people just need to take a chill pill and remember that people like Donna work hard to come up with new and interesting techniques to share with us. And they do it so well....

Melody, I've learnt something from reading your post - because I too wondered sometimes why people couldn't 'snap out' of their depression. You have taught me to endeavour to be more understanding.

1. I began scrapbooking because I had a small baby daughter and I thought this was a great way to document her life and have a keepsake for her to have when she was older that would have personal meaning to her, created with love, by me. 2. The reason I scrapbook is primarily selfish - I scrap because I love it, and it is my favourite addictive hobby. (It doesn't hurt either that I am preserving memories for the future and creating keepsakes to enjoy now). 3. I would persuade them they could have a rewarding hobby, sharing in the comraderie of other scrapbookers, and "making" beautiful "memories" to treasure for years to come.
