You say that the only way to provide quality healthcare for the sick and injured without a mandate is taxpayer funded Medicare-for-all. Is that really the ONLY way? Surely a mind like yours could come up with one or two other possible solutions.
The reason that the Right thinking among us want to repeal Obamacare is that it will sink the economy, destroy the healthcare system, trashes personal liberty and provide none of the promised benefits. You seem to want to defend Obamacare on the basis that it contains some popular provisions. Using that logic you could defend capital punishment on the grounds that last meals are popular among the condemned.
As far as expanding Medicaid. That's real popular except among the 50 states, and every doctor in America. ( Hint: everyone loses money on Medicaid, if they get paid at all)
It may be true that there are no "death panels" in the bill YET( Maybe the Independent Payment Advisory Board should count as a death panel?) however no one has seen the hundreds of thousands of pages of regulations yet to be created.
Seriously, do we really need unelected bureaucrats in Washington running a one size fits all healthcare system for the whole country?
