Hi Pam: It's been a few hours since you commented and hope you still have electricity and are safe and dry! Yes, it has been a while since the last bag pattern. I'm going to try to make a few this year. They'll probably never be BIG bags, but it is on my radar to make more bag patterns. This pattern comes out on Tuesday. Finish up your other sewing projects this weekend, so you'll have time for this one. :0] Good luck to you with the storm. I'm going to catch up on what is happening with it now and will hope for the best for you and that you do not lose power. -Michelle

I used to fiddle around with these too, Patty. But then I was trying to match the stripes on a print with several different colored stripes printed on the diagonal. I couldn't quite make it work! So basically, I HAD to figure out a more reliable method. The tape was added in later after having to cut apart and re-sew many, many binding strips because the fabric would shift slightly and the stripes would end up way off. :0[ Anyway, hope all is well with you and your family!
