Wedding
Once upon a time, was a white linen top, remaining on a shelf because its owner thought it was too short. On another shelf, a dress was also waiting for better days. Its shape did not satisfied any of the girls who had tried it. Eventually, they met and decided to spend the rest of their li...

Really nice ! I live in a hot country and knitting is one of the things that makes me miss cold weather !
The Orange Re-Knit Sweater
Hey, it's Vic!! This is a sweater that I knit using the yarn from a sweater that my mom gave me. It took a while to pull the thing apart, and even longer to knit the new one, but I love it! It's so comfy and warm - too bad it's still hot here in California. Yes, the neckline tends to slip, b...

Thank you !
Back from the past.
Hello ! Since I had no time to make some refashion recently, I've decided to post about this waistcoat. Are you going to believe me if I tell you I made it...18 years ago ! Let me tell you the story about it : Pink fabric : a dress of mine ; yellow fabric : my cousin's dress ; striped fabric ...
Although admitting it was made 18 years ago (I can still remember me at my parents, cutting the squares in the garden)was a bit painful (!), I hope it will last as much ! Will the colors not suitable when I get old ?
Thank you for your nice comment !

The print on the sleeveless one is made of tiny strawberries. Thanks for your nice comment !
2 new tops
It has been nearly 4 months since I signed up. I met 2 major difficulties: 1st, in this part of the world, thrift shops barely exist. So, I can't buy anything this way. 2nd, in my wardrobe, the clothes I don't wear are too small. They used to fit but not anymore. And it's rather hard to refash...
Thanks for the link ! I didn't know this brand but there are very inspiring clothes !
I did not use a pattern, but made one from my basic pattern and had a go. That's why I used a sheet : I thought I would ruin the fabric ! At the beginning, I wanted to put an elastic at the end of the sleeve but changed my mind.
It is fabric consuming but no difficult to make !

Thank you for your comment ! You're right about refashioning small things. That is weird because it is obvious but I could only see one kind of refashion : big to small. Maybe because it seems more difficult than to cut something big and get rid of what is not needed !
For example, until now, I wouldn't have even thought about enlarging trousers. But that is a lack of imagination I'll try to improve.
I will go through all my too tight clothes thinking of what you said, and maybe I'll find inspiration !
