David - I need some time to digest your comments before responding...maybe in another post. Thanks! Kathy Gould, Director Palos Verdes Library District 701 Silver Spur Rd. Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274 tel 310-377-9584 x200 email kgould@pvld.org website www.pvld.org
Chris - By looking over my shoulder I meant spending time watching what other people are doing, not for a productive reason like learning from them or coaching them, but because I dont trust that they are working on the right things or doing things the right way or because I am measuring myself and how hard I am working or what a good job I am doing against my perception of how hard they are working or how well they are performing even when it isnt really my business....and if I just focused on doing what I need to do and trusted that they are doing what they are supposed to do I would probably save myself both time and energy. Oh no! We had a close encounter this week when a skunk ran out in front of the dog but fortunately no spray. I have a recipe for a de-skunking solution at home if you want it - I think it uses mild dish soap and hydrogen peroxide!
