Hey, JJ, I resemble that remark. No offense taken for the truth. Not that you're some spring chicken yourself.

Hey, Golfer! Headed to St. Louis for some Dad-and-Daughter play time. Zoo tomorrow, cousin's wedding Saturday evening. Maybe the Arch or Butterfly Gardens on Saturday.

The so-called "animal rights" movement makes me (more) bonkers. This may drive me over the edge. The story should have only been broadcast on the 1st of April.

Greetings! Can't tell you how much I miss this place, but I rarely see it before you folks retire in the afternoon. It's good to know the cops are here to serve and protect from urinating 3-year-olds.

Is that the dog or the owner? Or is there a difference?

Oh, come on. I'm nuts and don't need a test to prove it.

Do Hunts care? I don't think so as long as there are butts in the seat and green in the wallet. They're the Cubs of football.

"Normal" may not exist in my world. Just glad to be back.

"Kansas City Cheaps: together is powerful." They have now invented "Cheapbonics." Probably as accurate, once translated to English, as the Royals' "Our Time." They pay cash money to invent this advertising b.s. And hat tip to Bishop Finn for putting clergy perversions in perspective: "“Sometimes priests do things they shouldn’t.” "Boys will be boys."

Bigfoot spotted south of Kalispell, Montana. Sasquatch was promptly run over by a 15-year-old girl, and then by a 17-year-old girl for good measure.

Jellybean, (In response to your 9:44 reply to my Scott Peterson post) Luv ya. You're my number one source, right after the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, AP and CNN, etc., etc., etc. "Knowing" something isn't the same as "proving" something. (Ask Akin.)

For those of you following the Drew Peterson trial fiasco, after multiple (I think at least 4) admonitions to the prosecution for forbidden testimony, Judge points to holes in prosecution's case as the State prepares to close its presentation. Sometimes even special laws won't help the State's case. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know he's guilty because we're all geniuses.

Courtesy of Fauz Snooze: USADA reacted quickly and treated Armstrong's decision as an admission of guilt, hanging the label of drug cheat on an athlete... Obviously, the USADA merely skimmed the headlines and didn't bother to read either the articles or Armstrong's statement. Sounds like an out of control organization led by a huge ego to me. Maybe Travis Tygart should enter politics, where such crap is normal. By the way, I don't give a shiite about cycling.

Armstrong over-waters his lawn in Austin, Tx. He must have cheated. Name the drug tests Armstrong flunked. You can't. The USADA record is 68 - 2 in arbitration. That tells me more about the process than the integrity. (You may choose to believe otherwise, or prefer jailhouse snitches over evidence.) I find USADA, established by Congress, to be the PETA of sports logic - the giant ego of Travis Tygart, entranced with his power. You're more than welcome to disagree.

Great find there, ATHB. I still think Akin can pull off a victory. 10 weeks is a long time for the public to remember he's a jerk. He may need to kiss some different butts for money, but he can find it.

It sucks being unable to read or post to the OT during the day. Y'all seem to go to sleep about the time I get home. The last two days have reminded me of the H L Mencken quote:No one in this world, so far as I know-and I have searched the records for years, and employed agents to help me-has ever lost money by underestimating the intelligence of the great masses of the plain people. I predict a narrow but clear victory for Akin. Yoder will obviously win, too

Chicken! Ever think of the natural diet of catfish or chickens or hogs? Bugs are people, too! It's ok to eat Bambi's parents because they're vegitarians.

Oh, look at the pwetty wittle lion. What monster would eat him for dinner? And no eating horses, either. Or foie gras. SAVE THE GOOSE'S LIVER! Well, what about the cute little nutria? And the cute little puppies and kitties? What did one of them adorable little escargot ever do to you? Let's all become vegans!

I'll find this criminal when I've seen various people at the next meet-up bust a few moves. Especially Tony, if he can make it.
