I am thankful: - that my new husband, diagnosed at age 27 with congestive heart failure and chronic renal insufficiency, has survived the five-year mark with no significant deterioration. - that my dad, after mom passed away, moved nearly 3,000 miles to be near me. - for our two happy and healthy rescued kitties. - for being involved in papercrafting as a way to preserve our stories and put smiles on faces. - for the soldiers who risk everything to allow us to live in a free society.
