We were just there a few months ago and had a wonderful time. I second Magazine Street and District Donuts, there is also a deli next door to District Donuts called Steins, that has super yummy sandwiches and even gluten free bread (we have gluten allergies). There is an ice cream place on Magazine street called Sucré that is just beautiful to look at and has delicious ice cream served in the prettiest little bowls. Lots of neat flea market/antique shops nearby. Another restaurant we loved was The Palace Cafe on Canal street, expensive but beautiful, and really good food. If you like Irish food and music there is an Irish gastropub called the Irish House on St. Charles street that has great food and live Irish music on Monday nights, that was a blast. And she's not kidding about the shoes thing. They will say, "I betchu I can tell you where you got your shoes." Just say, "I got my shoes on my feet." and keep walking, ha! (that's what they will say if you actually bet them.) Hope you have a wonderful time, and I can't wait to see your pictures! (I took about 2,000 in a week!) ❤ Melissa~

Thank you Susan. I'd like to read the book that series was made from. I've read The Big Fisherman also by Lloyd Douglas and loved it. I didn't know it was a tv series until you mentioned it! I wonder if it's on netflix? ❤ Melissa~

Thank you so much Alisha. I think you're right, on making it bigger, just need to do some research to figure out how. Thank you for your comment, it means a lot to hear from you! And I'm so happy you like the printables. ❤ ❤ Melissa~

I know what you mean about change Susan, me too! I like the bigger banner too, and I'm hoping to get this one to show up bigger (as a side note, can I ask what you're viewing the blog on? phone, tablet or desktop?), coding is not my favorite thing so it takes me awhile to figure this stuff out. Hopefully, eventually, I'll get there. So glad you like the printables, and thank you so much for your feedback and comments. I really appreciate it. :) ❤ Melissa~

Thank you so much Nancy. You know I used to feel that way about drawing, but I just kept practicing and sketching and now I feel like I'm getting better at it. One thing I did was to check out "how to draw" books from the library and go through all the exercises in the books, over and over even if I felt like it didn't look good. That really helped build my confidence! Thank you again for your sweet comments. 💖 💗 Melissa~
