Susan, I've had the paper for a long time and am not sure but I believe it is Stampin' Up! Tempting Turquoise. Another paper that would work well with this is Bazzill Robin's Egg. I hope this helps.

Puala, Hot pressed paper is a very smooth paper, it appears more like cardstock yet is wonderful to watercolor with. Cold pressed paper has a rougher texture. They are both great for water coloring and sponging. It just depends on what you want your project to look like. I would like to suggest that if you like to paint with watercolor paper then do your self the favor of purchasing good paper. The difference it makes is amazing.
