Love your tutorial on design. My favorite design tip is to always use an uneven number of embellishments to add interest, rather than an even number.

A teenage memory that I have actually already scrapped was when my dad was trying to teach me how to drive. What a disaster!! I got so nervous that I stepped on the gas and jumped the curb....drove right up to our front porch where my Mom was standing....drove up 4 steps and stopped in front of her! As I got out the car, my knees shaking so hard I could barely stand, my dad said, in an understated voice, "well that was really something.."!
