your pouches are becoming works of art xo
i always marvel at your photography sonia. I am sure that pouch will be just as amazing.
i love seeing nature through your eyes.
the daffodil reminds me of you , sunshine.
my aren't they pretty. Makes me want to pick up a needle and thread to stitch some butterflies.
i often buy a pot of it at the nursery to have on the porch during the summer months. I too wish it grew here all year round. Love your photographs sonia!
i really do love it too
i so want to eat that brownie right now. I have been out gardening and dyeing with indigo all afternoon. It is cool but very sunny so I didn't mind it but now I am so hungry :) So happy you had a wonderful birthday. I think a few more surprises will arrive soon.
Hi Kate It is just noro wool crocheted in single crochet in a circular manner as you would for a simple doily or rug . It was then felted in the washing machine. The wool is made in Japan but readily available everywhere and it is self striping . Hope that helps Margie

your bucket lineups are really quite something but it is funny how they remind me of dance recitals. I kind of miss them , seeing all those adorable children lined up in their bright costumes dancing.
congratulations on the poppytalk market and happy sewing my friend.
i am in love with the colors and textures in these photographs. So inspiring.
that first photograph is so breathtaking
i think you have a beautiful style as well but more importantly you have a very strong philosphy of making that is evident throughout everything. xo
you are such a thoughtful , wonderful daughter in law. I am certain she will love her everlasting bloom.
i love the naturally dyed one so much. Such a beautiful shape and size too. I will think of your MIL all day and wish for excellent results for surgery and her rehabilitation. xo
it is so gorgeous my friend and these colours and their variations would look so wonderful with your beautiful complexion
i love your enthusiasm for natural dyeing. I prepared a larger indigo vat yesterday and had it warming in the sunshine on the kitchen table. I left it there overnight and awoken with a feeling that I was going to find indigo dyed kitty cat paws this morning but it did not happen, thank goodness. xo
gorgeous, just gorgeous
what a kind beautiful soul she is. Just like you xo
for some reason my comments are not showing up but this one did so i will say again what an amazing achievement for your grandfather. big hug, have a lovely weekend
your photographs are such a source of relaxation to me. I love using the word rose because it reminds me of my daughter tamara's first doll. It was a sasha doll from england named baby rosie and she came in a little wicker. Her darling dress, bloomers and cap were cotton covered in rosebuds and she had little red leather shoes:)
i hope i have some blue dreams tonight xo
domestic sunshine, inside and out xo
