@brittarnhild Do you remember my grey striped alpaca scarf? I have had a break for several months working on it, but when I, on Sunday night, was packing for a two day´s work trip to a hotel outside Oslo, I found the orange canvas bag where I had the scarf... Continue reading

@brittarnhild After I finished the scarf using the alpacca yarn I bought in Florence, I have been continuing to work on another traditional Setesdal sweather for a little toddler, the son of Italian friends who have moved to Norway. Gardening takes much of my spare time these days, but still... Continue reading

@brittarnhild September. Leaves has started to fall, just like they have in my life. I love September, just as I love to be in my 60th year. September, my 60th year. Still blueberries in the forest. Tiny little toddler´s fingers... Continue reading

@brittarnhild These lovely days of autumn. When the garden is thriving, producing a lot more than we can eat, sharing beauty for weeks and months to come. The colours are different now from the height of summer. The bumble bees... Continue reading

@brittarnhild I was out in the garden when suddenly I heard hundreds of starlings singing. They filled the trees in my neighbour´s garden, they filled the lawns. In between singing they ate a million earthworms. The starlings are busy now.... Continue reading

Continue reading

@brittarnhild Jeg leser ei helt spesiell bok for tiden, Birding on Borrowed Time av Phoebe Snetsinger.
