Just the other day I made so chocolate chip cookies from the book. The bad news is that I didn't put 6 on a pan like I was mean to do, and the cookies went and fell OFF the pan, got suck together, and turned out HUGE. Well, it’s been awhile, but I’ve been very busy. We’re moving!!! See, my house has been for sale and it’s sold. So we’ve been packing up our house and it’s messy, but clean. it’s weird. Some place are packed and what hasn’t has been moved to our kitchen (boo), dining room (boo), and living room (again, boo). So it’s not so bad. I just can’t cook (boo)!!! Okay, this weekend my sister is coming home for spring break from college, and my cousin is coming to look at a near by college and my mom wants me to make a batch or two of cookies. She wants me to make katydids out of a 3 POUND tub of cookie dough!! I mean 3 pounds is a lot. And I had to carry 6 or 7 of those. That’s 18 to 21 pounds of cookie dough that’s been frozen for awhile. She also wants me to make some more for when we have some people come help pack... Continue reading

So today was my mom’s b-day ( not saying how old) and I got to make monkey bread twice. Now you will be saying one of two things. “What is monkey bread?” or “ Isn’t she supposed to be cooking out of the book?” Well, monkey bread is biscuits, brown sugar, sugar, margarine, and cinnamon and I made one batch with a friend from church(we’re the two that are hugging), and yes I am but I just don’t have enough time. Sorry that I have posted lately, but I’m busy. So, the chocolate lava muffins that I made were amazing!!! They were so rich, I almost started drooling, though I didn’t because we went to friends house. Last week I made a cake (not in the book) for a different friend’s birthday. Last night I had a supper that took me less than 20 minutes to make. All I did was add noodles(cooked), chicken, onion, and alfredo sauce in the pan I cooked the chicken and onion in. Then took that out and mix the alfredo sauce and noodles in there. Then the chicken and onion are are like a garnish. I'm still doing the muffins on Ssaturday for a Wii challenge rematch. Hungry All the Time I am a new teen. I've never blogged before, but I love to cook and my mom convinced me to start one. I will be cooking recipes from Alton Brown's "Good Eats: The Early Years" and will be blogging about it. It's kind of like the movie "Julie and Julia."
