Watched the live stream, and it was an enjoyable experience! If you are looking for a Gorilla tripod Think Geek carries them http://www.thinkgeek.com/electronics/cameras-photography/82db/?srp=22. If you get the smaller size you can actually wrap it around your wrist like an arm band so long as the phone is not too heavy as to make it uncomfortable.
