Love the Pomlamoose and thanks to L&T the "Research Queen" for answering the same question I had... who are those two?! Cute, quirky, fun music... how can you not love them? Send in to their Richmond book drive and get a Christmas album!

Love the Cee Lo! The broadcast-friendly version loses more than a little in the translation.

For-profit health insurance companies aren't thinking about your health, they're thinking about their profit. When you pay premiums and they refuse to pay... well, it's all profit for them. Dems have the best ideas but don't have a clue about how to control the message. When whack-jobs like Sarah Palin influence the narrative more effectively than a good idea... you're in big trouble.

David Schuster and the staff clearly had a lot of fun writing that piece. Even the graphics are hilarious.

"I was afraid I was the boring sweater guy..." but I got "the jewelry face..." "I guess we'll be having the sex now..." Thank you! Laugh out loud funny! I'm suddenly quite attracted to Sarah Haskins.

It's not just information overload, it's also hype overload. To gain any traction with the media, and therefore the public at-large, positions have to be presented as extreme and their tenents non-negotiable (see Bill O'Reilly's 'War on Christmas' or the NRA among others). The sad reality is, common sense compromise cannot be allowed because any weakening of position (in their opinion) only leads to the ultimate demise of their cause. It's a Catch-22. Any reasonable position of worthy issues doesn't cut through information overload, and any hyper-extreme position only marginalizes the cause to anyone but the true believers. In my opinion, hype is the bigger enemy because that's what dominates most of the information we overload on. Somehow, the TRUTH needs to cut through. If I could figure that out I could be the anti-Rupert Murdoch and retire a happy man. K

Can't wait for the show! I don't keep up on my music videos the way I used to, can't say I've ever seen a Cake music video before. Their quirky musical style is perfectly reflected with these quirky, self-depricating videos.

Being the 'friend' that you mentioned, your profound (?) comment has given me a better perspective on what this is all about. It's strange for me to be both the communicator AND the subject.

Oh, Eric was definitely saying "hi" in his own playful way. At a time when we are so focused on death and loss, these surreal moments warm our cold hearts with a symbolic hug that is as reassuring and as comforting as you are willing to allow it to be. Welcome to my rainbow.
