Hi friends! Today I have one more card to share with you that I created for Papertrey Ink's June release! This was such a great release...so many new stamps and dies that have already become some of my favorites! The new Land That I Love stamp set, illustrated by Heather Nichols, is a wonderful summer set! I just love the mix of fonts that she used in the sentiments. And those fireworks images...I think they will be great for year round projects. I have a New Year's card idea bouncing around in my head that I can't wait to try! :-) To start, I created a very quick striped background by quickly swiping on some paint. After it was dry, I stamped directly over it using Dark Indigo ink to create the festive background. I embossed the sentiment onto Dark Indigo cardstock using white detail embossing powder. I then die... Continue reading

Welcome to the fifth and final day of the Papertrey Ink June release inspiration posts! Hasn't this been an amazing release? SO many fabulous new stamps and dies! Today, I'm sharing a card featuring the new Hello Mother, Hello Father stamp set, illustrated by Lexi Daly. For my card, I started by creating a bright watercolor wash background. I then splattered on some dark blue and white acrylic paint. Once the paint was dry, I stamped the stars onto the watercolor background. I stamped, colored with Copics, and cut out the moon, tent, and canoe (all images from the Hello Mother, Hello Father stamp set). For the sentiment, I stamped the "A Little Happy Mail" sentiment from the Keep It Simple: Happy Mail stamp set. I'm back again today, sharing a card featuring the new June release from Papertrey Ink. Today we are highlighting the new Garden Party, illustrated by Dawn McVey. Dawn has such a way with flowers and the new Garden Party is absolutely delightful! I love all of the thoughtful ways that Dawn created to customize the flowers! You can use the smaller flowers as is, or they fit inside the larger flowers to create two toned images (like I did on the Hawaiian Shores flowers above). I stamped and die cut several flowers, using a soft color palette. I thought the soft colors would really pop against the Dark Indigo background. To create the unique shape on the Dark Indigo background, I used one of the To The Point Edgers dies on both the top and bottom . For the sentiment, I die cut the Ways to Say: Hello two times.... I'm back today share some more cards featuring Papertrey Ink's new June release! Today we are highlighting the new Quoted: True Friends stamp set along with the Herb Garden Mini Kit. My first card features the new Quoted: True Friends stamp set, illustrated by Nichole Heady. I absolutely love this series of stamps! Not only are they wonderful quotes, but each fragment is a separate stamp making it easy to create custom sentiments! I used the whole quote on my card. I think the mix of fonts is so beautiful and really wanted ti to take center stage. I started by sponging a piece of watercolor paper with Raspberry Fizz ink. I then embossed the sentiment using black detail embossing powder. I then spritzed the paper with water. I decorated the top by adding flowers that I stamped and die cut using the Garden Party stamp set and coordinating Garden... Continue reading

Hi again! Today I'm sharing a card that I created using Papertrey Ink's new June release! The new Textile Impressions stamp set, designed by Lizzie Jones, is a wonderfully unique set full of shapes that can be used to create so many different patterns! I find that I am always in need of masculine cards and I thought this set would be perfect for that! I started by stamping the "x" image repeatedly (using my MISTI) onto white cardstock. I created the strips by stamping three different patterns onto Tropical Teal, Canyon Clay, and Dark Indigo cardstock. For the sentiment, I first stamped the Hello in black ink and then stamped the dots around it. Hi friends! Today I'm excited to share with you a card that I created using Papertrey Ink's brand new June release! The sets being highlighted today is Humming Along, designed by Betsy Veldman. Betsy has done it again! She has created a completely unique and fabulously detailed set! This set contains two different kinds of flowers, a large and small humming bird, and some beautifully scripted sentiments. I started by die cutting three of the pansy clusters. Then, using my MISTI, I stamped the leaves (I have found this the easiest way to line everything up). Finally, I stamped the flowers using both blue and purple hues. For the background, I sponged the edges with white ink and then splattered with white acrylic paint. Isn't that humming bird absolutely amazing? Seriously, Betsy thinks of everything!! It is so easy to create stunning colored birds because many of the components are... Continue reading

Hi and welcome to the June Reverse Confetti creative hop! Today, we are sharing lots of inspiration featuring some of our favorite previously release products! I created a treat and matching card featuring the Miso Happy stamp set! I just can't get enough of these cute pandas! :-) For the card, I started by pulling the trio of colors from the gummy bear treats in my treat package. Using the Tangerine, Salsa, and Sunshine cardstocks, I die cut the rectangle (from the Round Top Tag Confetti Cuts) to use as backdrops for the cute bears. For the bears, I embossed the smaller panda bear (from the Miso Happy stamp set) three times and die cut them out using the Miso Happy Confetti Cuts die set. I decorated the bottom with some hearts die cut from the XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts die set. For the treats, I packaged them in one... Continue reading

If you want pink flowers (like my card below) you have so many different kinds to choose from, making it so easy to mix and match! My first card features two different kinds of pink flowers, Pink Wallflowers and Pink Sparklers. I adhered them to some die cut white hearts. The lovely pink gingham patterned paper is from the Flirty Florals Paper Pad. I normally don't play favorites, but this paper pad is definitely my favorite...I just adore the soft, pretty patterns! Supplies Flirty Florals Paper Pad, Pink Wallflowers, Pink Sparklers I know that Mother's Day is past, but I think we should celebrate our Mothers year round! I started my card by stamping the background using the large flower image. I then splattered it with gold and black paint. Hi friends! I'm back sharing a card I created using Papertrey Ink's brand new May release! Today, I'm sharing a card made with the new Quoted: Dream Big stamp set. I am so loving the new Quoted series! The new Quoted: Dream Big set is such a fun one! I especially love that each line of the sentiment is a separate stamp, making it so easy to create a customized sentiment! I wanted to create a feminine graduation card, so I customized the images to meet my needs. I used Sweet Blush and Berry Sorbet colors to offset the bold Dark Indigo color. Hi again! I'm back sharing a card I created using Papertrey Ink's brand new May release! Today, I'm sharing a card made with the new Heart & Sole stamp set. This is such a fabulously unique set! Betsy (as usual) has thought of everything! Having five guys in my house (my hubby and four sons), this set will absolutely get a lot of use! I think my favorite part of it is the different kind of shoe prints. The athletic image could be used for both feminine and masculine, making it even more versatile! I chose a very masculine color combo for my card, keeping with mostly neutral hues. For the background, I used the new Mix & Mat: Herringbone die set to create a textured backdrop for the boot image. This die set... I LOVE it!!! I am so thrilled with this new die series!! I popped up the... Continue reading
