Hi friends! I'm back for the final day of the May release inspiration posts, sharing card I created using Papertrey Ink's brand new May release! Today, we're sharing projects made with the new Especially You and Year of Psalms: May stamp sets. The new Especially You stamp set is SO pretty! I love the open lines, and the gorgeous flowing scripts! I also really appreciate that you can create many different styles with it, from soft and pretty to graphic and modern! I started my card by stamping the background using the large flower image. I then splattered it with gold and black paint. For the focal image, I stamped the smaller flower image and then colored it in using Copic markers. I die cut it out and then adhered it to a black strip of cardstock. The sentiment is die cut out of Luxe Gold paper. Especially You stamp... Continue reading

Hi friends! I'm back sharing a card I created using Papertrey Ink's brand new May release! Today, I'm sharing a card made with the new Quoted: Dream Big stamp set. I am so loving the new Quoted series! The new Quoted: Dream Big set is such a fun one! I especially love that each line of the sentiment is a separate stamp, making it so easy to create a customized sentiment! I wanted to create a feminine graduation card, so I customized the images to meet my needs. To add a female touch to this card, I added some stamped and die cut leaves from the Palm Prints stamp set and coordinating die set. I used Sweet Blush and Berry Sorbet colors to offset the bold Dark Indigo color. Hi again! I'm back sharing a card I created using Papertrey Ink's brand new May release! Today, I'm sharing a card made with the new Heart & Sole stamp set. This is such a fabulously unique set! Betsy (as usual) has thought of everything! Having five guys in my house (my hubby and four sons), this set will absolutely get a lot of use! I think my favorite part of it is the different kind of shoe prints. The athletic image could be used for both feminine and masculine, making it even more versatile! I chose a very masculine color combo for my card, keeping with mostly neutral hues. For the background, I used the new Mix & Mat: Herringbone die set to create a textured backdrop for the boot image. This die set... I LOVE it!!! I am so thrilled with this new die series!! I popped up the... Continue reading

Small, affordable sets with a variety of fonts and sentiments that will definitely be a staple for a long time to come! I did some color blocking in soothing blues for my background. I love to keep several of these cards in my stash, ready to go when I need them. The addition of the Ivy & Bloom stamps and dies really add to the overall calm of the card. Good morning! It's day four of the May Papertrey Ink countdown and I have three projects to share with you today featuring the new Sun & Moon stamp set, illustrated by Nichole Heady. All of the new products will be at 10 pm EST on May 15 in the Papertrey Ink store. The images in this set are full of such intricate and gorgeous details! Every time I look at it, I see another detail that I previously missed! These are some of my favorite kind of images to create with as they lend themselves to so many different styles! For my first card, I created a very simple but elegant card. I couldn't wait to emboss these images! I embossed the half sun image twice, creating a whole sun. I was so pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to line them up! I almost always use a stamp... Continue reading

Hey there! I'm back, sharing a couple of cards featuring some of Queen & Co's fabulous flower embellishments! I absolutely LOVE to add flowers to my cards, and I'm thrilled with how many different variety Queen & Co has! For my first card I started by die cutting the Bubbles Foam Front die out of black cardstock. To lighten the cardstock up a little, I splattered the cardstock with some white paint. I then filled up each of the circles with four different flowers: Sparklers, Petite Posies, Wallflowers, and Pom Flowers. I topped the card off with a strip of patterned paper from the Simple Stripes 6 x 6 Mat Stack. Supplies Sparklers: Yellow, Purple Wallflowers: Blue, Yellow Petite Posies: Blue, Yellow Blue Pom Flowers Simple Stripes 6 x6 Mat Stack Bubbles Foam Front Die For my next card, I kept things a little more simple. Hi there friends! I have a couple of cards to share with you today! I created these using the super cute Popsicles & Pandas collection from Bella Blvd. This collection has such cute images, fun patterns, bold and bright colors...totally my style! For my first card, I started by adding a quick yellow watercolor wash to the background. I layered on some strips of patterned paper (from the 6 x 8 Paper Pad) to ground the pandas. Some Paper Pieces, Puffy Stickers, and regular stickers were added for embellishment. Supplies Popsicles & Pandas: 6 x 8 Paper Pad, Paper Pieces, Puffy Stickers, Fundamentals; Enamel Dots: Cotton Candy This cute little card all started with the adorable Snailed It! image (from the Daily Details sheet)! I thought it would be perfect for an end of the year card for one of my kiddos! I decorated with some Epoxy DooDads (I used... Continue reading

Hi there friends! Today I'm sharing a couple of cards featuring Queen & Co's fabulous Glitter Washi Tape! I love to add sparkle to my creations, but don't always love the hassle of dealing with stray glitter all over the place. The fabulous thing about Glitter Washi Tape is that non of the sparkle comes off! Add that to being absolutely gorgeous and easy to use and you have something as close to perfection as it gets! My first card features the Skinny Glitter Washi Tape. Of course I had to line those pretty colors up in ROYGBIV order! I love that they are sticky enough to stay on a project once added, but not so overly so that you can't pick it up and move it if needed. I used patterned paper, foam, and heart die from the Heart Throb Kit. I sprinkled on a few Petite Posies and... Continue reading

Hi friends! I'm popping in to share a couple of cards I created with Bella Blvd's Delight in His Day collection. Bright fun colors, happy images, and uplifting sentiments...these are reasons why this is one of my favorite collections! :-) My first card is one that I designed to be used as either a celebration card or a birthday card. When the need arises, I can stamp an occasion specific sentiment on the inside. I started by cutting apart two 3 x 4's (from the 3 x 4's paper). I layered them on top of a piece of colored paper from the 6 x 8 Paper Pad. I grounded the 3 x 4's by adhering a couple of borders (from the Borders paper) at an angle towards the bottom of the card. I embellished with a couple of Paper Pieces, Epoxy Sticker, Mini Hexi Stickers, and alpha stickers. My next... Continue reading

Hi friends! Today the Papertrey Ink design team is sharing projects created with the new 2017 Anniversary stamp set. The special customer appreciation set. Grand Finale, truly has it all! Two of my favorite things are frames and flowers and this set is brimming with them! Add in the lovely sentiments and you have a very versatile set! Since Mother's Day is quickly approaching, I decided to create a card specifically for that special day. I started by stamping one of the frame images using Hawaiian Shores ink. I wanted to create a window of sorts so I went searching through my dies for a small square die that would fit inside the frame. I found the square die from the Road Signed die set was a perfect fit! I tucked a piece of silver glitter paper underneath the window and then I popped the top white layer up with... Continue reading

Hi friends! I'm playing along with this month's Sketch For You to Try! You can find all the details on the sketch challenge (along with the fabulous prize you can win) over at the Reverse Confetti Blog! There is still time to enter and the prize really is fantastic, not to mention a crazy fun sketch! :-) Here's this month's sketch... And this is what I came up with using the sketch... Can you believe it's been a whole year since the Bear Hugs stamp set was released? This sweet little set was released last April...where has the time gone? :-) I adore koala bears, especially these cute and cuddly ones so I just had to break out this set again! After coloring in the images, I die them out using the coordinating Bear Hugs Confetti Cuts die set. For the circle element, I die cut the largest circle from... Continue reading

Hey friends! I have another card to share with you today! This is my third post, so make sure to scroll down to see the other two! :-) My birthday card stash has gotten pretty low so I thought I would start building it back up. This floral card features the Blooms 'n Buds stamp set (die cut with the coordinating Blooms 'n Buds Confetti Cuts die set) from Reverse Confetti. I chose to use bright, modern colors offset by the soft and feminine background. The sentiment is from the Circle Wishes stamp set (die cut with the Circle Wishes Confetti Cuts die set). I absolutely LOVE adding circular elements to my cards, which is why I love this set so much! :-) Behind the flowers and sentiment, I tucked in a die cut frame (from the All Framed Up Confetti Cuts die) with a piece of patterned paper inside.... Hey friends! This is my second post for today. If you want to see my Papertrey Ink post, please scroll down or click HERE. I created a birthday party favor and invitation card using Bella Blvd's Secret of the Sea collection! The bright colors and fun images in this collection drew me in right away! What better paper to create birthday part invites/part favors with? One of my favorite things about Bella Blvd's collections is that they almost always have lots of coordinating embellishments! Along with the fun papers, there are Puffy Stickers, Epoxy stickers, Washi Tape, Paper Pieces, Alphabets and more! It makes putting together gifts so easy! The little party favor is a pint sized container that I covered and decorated. I filled the container up with goldfish (it seemed fitting). I personalized the child's name on the top of the container with some of the Wonky Puffy... Continue reading

Welcome back to the final day of inspiration featuring Papertrey Ink's brand new April release! The sets being highlighted today are Gran's Garden and Quoted: Start Again. I get a bit week in the knees every time I see a new Papertrey floral set! The new Gran's Garden set, illustrated by Dawn McVey, is no exception! The bold, multi step stamping is SO popular right now! I literally cannot get enough of this set! I went with a bold color combo, intending to create a card meant to cheer the recipient up. The sentiment is from the new Pen & Ink stamp set. This is definitely my new g0-to sentiment set! It has everything from birthdays and thank yous to wedding and encouragement sentiments! and the script font is gorgeous!
