It would be great if movie theaters and convenience stores offered healthier options. However, until such time, it is easy to "do it yourself".
When going to the theater, just bring your own snack. Frequently, I'll bring a power bar ... it cost $1.00. In addition to being healthier, it's a HUGE cost savings. In regard to convenience stores, I always have snacks in the car...my preferred snack ... raw almonds.
So, with a few simple and handy alternatives, you can "trick" the system.
