Sounds like season 6 would be a great time for Netflix to get further into the production side of the business. Would they be able to buy season 6 if SyFy passes on it? Or, would the show just be done and dead?

I read the story for free, and I came back to pay $1.69. Some editing from the epub version: Page 8 of 25: "But if she just stared..." I assume that 'If' was supposed to be removed. Page 11 of 25: The sentence about Pyke's sap clattering. It feels awkward that his name is used twice. Also, that's a compound sentence, and it needs a comma before the 'and'. [/EndEdit] I really liked the story. I'd be interested in reading more if you go back to this place. How many villains cause pain with hugs!? The Kraken? I can't think of any others right now. Do you plan to expand on this setting? Good stuff.

Mistakes were made, but Wil didn't care. He loved his short, blue-skinned, clone brothers anyway.

Since you missed w00tstock 2.7 to work on Eureka, I felt it was necessary to see what was so special about the show. Ten days later, my girlfriend and I had caught up on seasons 1-3.5 thanks to Netflix streaming. If we could watch the first 5 episodes of season 4 somewhere, we would be caught up completely and ready for the second half of the season to start. Anyway, while I'm looking forward to seeing Actor Wil on Eureka, I'm really glad that Writer Wil is back for awhile. You make it enjoyable for us to participate with you in the simplest of events, like going bowling or walking your dog. Thanks.

I think the context and background you provided was important. I didn't see the one-sided exchange until this morning, and when I read it against the replies it still didn't make sense. I think that your anger was justified. First, if someone is going to post from GamePolitics's public Twitter account and they don't know what Wil Wheaton has tried to do for gamers, then I question why they have a job. It's not like you're hiding in a corner or working backroom deals to help the public perception of gamers. This isn't supposed to be some half-assed blog by a single person, either. And, instead of doing the research himself, he tried to outsource to it Twitter? Is using Google so hard? Was it too difficult to send you an email or an @reply for information if he REALLY didn't know? Sidenote: Does this person know anything about Net Neutrality? It doesn't apply to or help just gamers. It is meant to help EVERYBODY. I do think you violated Wheaton's Law, but only because you deliberately made your replies public by adding the "." before the reply. You wanted all of us to see what you were saying, not just the person you were talking to or people that viewed your page. You injected your anger into our Twitter streams. This whole exchange should have been done via email. Your punishment is to produce an episode of Radio Free Burrito, the one we were promised weeks ago before you went all bat-shit crazy with work. ;-D

BEWARE! Lizard Brain software patches written with alcohol are prone to catastrophic failure. "Write drunk, edit sober" is great for fiction, not so much for patching root systems.

Wil, could you ever see yourself living somewhere other than Los Angeles? As a writer, you could basically live anywhere you want, right?

Wil, have you ever considered trying to do a weekly podcast with Leo Laporte, Tom Merritt, or Scott Johnson? I think you'd do well with any of them. Keep the podcasts coming! Sidenote: Is there any way to read the fiction piece you mentioned releasing as a chapbook earlier this year?
