This is exactly how I feel about my little sister. She moved from Europe to Australia for her phd. It is incredibly difficult for me to not see her all the time, and not be able to talk to her on the phone all the time, and have a 10 hour time difference to deal with, etc. etc., but... ... she is making a bionic eye - so that's cool. I tell her all the time, but I don't think she can ever understand the extend of my love and pride for her. :'-)
