Pirates are terrible, but they *seem* to be heading in a better direction, or at least that's what the new owners are saying. They claim to be investing most of their money into the draft and Caribbean and such.
Their minors have went from 26th to 15th in the last couple years in BA rankings, so I guess that's a positive sign.
