haha dude chiilll, it's a funny commercial. it's aim is to be a corny joke, just be happy they've got two soccer ones now instead of a throwball or baseball one

duuuude.. ur diggin yourself a deep hole. for one thing, the czechs did not score "4, count 'em, 4 goals during the run of play". Remember the set piece that led to their first goal? Also dude, while not much was created during the run of play, you really do have to put it in context. most of the guys on the field were our scrubs, even those who end up making the 23 will struggle to make substitute appearances. And, foolball, set pieces are a part of the game, and they win matches. If the USA won the World Cup solely offa goals created from dead balls, i'm sure you'd stop complaining. AL_OC had a good point too, in our confed cup run, we scored a penalty and 7 goals from open play. stop putting that czech game under a magnifying glass so bad, it was meant to give a few players a last shot at solidifying or just making the team.
yo bedoya was wearing an arm band?? captain??
Dinho, I think you gotta be real. Not to take away from what he learned at Everton - he definitely can play with more confidence, having gone up against the top players in the world and played well. however he was back with LA after leaving Europe for 5 years. and he also played with San jose before that for two or three years. His real development is credited to MLS and his play with the USMNT, which was only a few times a year.

are you kidding me with that type of mentality about the MLS? dude, it's not the best league, but you can grow playing here. Tell me, where did Donovan play when he didn't last in Europe the first time around?? MLS. and are you saying that he didn't keep improving and growing? Let's be serious, he got better and better in MLS, and now went back to Europe, and excelled. Enough hate, MLS is getting better and can definitely benefit players in their development.

lmao hahaha
i thought the same thing dude
cross your fingers man. one of the keys to the success of RBA is gonna be how they've made a stadium close to NYC and have heavily marketed public transportation. if the Revs did that we'd get 20-25000 easy every game
8 straight years
New England til I die! New England Til I die! I know I am, I'm sure I am, NEW ENGLAND TIL I DIE!
hahaha don't get me wrong dude, it's great seeing that, but not quite as exciting
agree with you on that point. watchin LD tear it up for everton was extremely exciting. my eyes were glued to the tv waiting and watching for every touch he took
cross your fingers...
wolfsburg may not be tearing up the bundesliga this year, but keep in mind, they did win it last year... they're not gonna be too easy. All Fulham need is Deuce tearin it up again and continuing the form he had right before the injury. & Liverpool should be able to handle Benfica if they play like they have the past two games.
dude it's not a fear of failure. He cares about MLS and wants it and teh game in the states to succeed, and by resigning with them, they and the galaxy will get a lot of money for a team that buys out his contract within the next year. You think MLS wouldn't take him back if he failed in Europe. It would have been a terrible idea for the league for him to leave for free
F*ckin Neville!! PASS TO DONOVAN!!!
don't hate man, that was one of the biggest games in World Cup history, not just US Soccer history
They're meant to be throwbacks to the 1950 WC jerseys. Honestly I don't think they're thaaat bad. and itll be cool thinkin back to that famous last US-England World Cup match when our boys step on the pitch in June http://www.onionbag.com/1950-usa-home-ls-retro-shirt-4860.aspx
nahh dude, the Revs get the allocation money and draft pick (along w/ a goalie, who is only meant to fill in until Reis is fit, and a defender who adds depth and competition to the squad) Colorado gets a sub-par winger in Thompson, and the rights to Jeff. If he stays w/ MLS, it is a big upside for them. However, this deal definitely isn't all in Colorado's favor
that's actually a pretty cool idea

McBride actually did an interview for Fulham's website, saying that he is not a part of Bob's plans. He would however answer the call if it really came to that, but he knows that Bob didn't have him in the long term plans, let alone the ones for this World Cup
