i've had a needle phobia all my life (like, not just afraid but phobic, no amount of rational reasoning was going to make me not freak out about needles), but i tried acupuncture a few years ago and was amazed, in much the same way you were. i've found it most helpful for mechanical stuff, such as joints and muscles, and less helpful for mostly (i think?) chemical stuff, such as digestive disorders, but i do find it helpful. so glad you tried it and had a good result! hope your healing goes smoothly and quickly. go you!

i've also learned that if i flip my hair up above my head over the pillow, so i'm not lying on it, i get great root volume and better curls. if you want to encourage more curl or wave, you can skip the combing after you blot it, too. but it's very pretty as it is! love your blog :)
