I was reading your post and it reminds me of how awful I feel when I "lose it" in front of the kids. As I'm sure we all know, self mastery is not something that happens overnight, which means that these things will happen from time to time. It just makes me realize how merciful Allah is that with all of the mistakes we make along the way, our children love us so unconditionally. I guess the silver lining to these types of occurrences, is that it affords us the opportunity to teach our children how take responsibility for mistakes and how to handle them appropriately.
