That must have been a painful moment for you. I'm sorry you had to go through it. My own family is quite dismissive of my liberal views, or Commie talk, as they put it. I just go out of my way to avoid certain subjects now. I still find it hard to reconcile the memory of the parents that raised me with the people that fear mongering has now created. I hope you find an easier way to deal with it.

I use LastFM.com. It's still in it's beta stages, but the radio is a little different. The program uploads the titles of everything you play, then prepares neighbors and recommendations for you. You can listen to anyone's private station, (songs they play) or choose different genres. I've discovered all types of new music this way. It's free too, unless you choose to donate.
