The Sofitel was awesome except for the fact that we had to call them each and every night--no matter how late we got in--to make up the pull-out bed for our kids even though they knew we were using the bed every night. ("But, that's our policy, Sir...")
RE: LA fans...I am, as well, hesitant to paint an entire fan base as negative. I thought that the enthusiasm while we were here was due to the very recent Lakers win but I've heard other negative LA fan stories recently as well as yours so so I'm not so sure... All I can say is that my kids have zero desire to come back to LA!

Sorry for the delay, I was without internet for the past couple of days... So, Sunday was a short travel day and we traveled from Mandalay Bay in Oxnard to Anaheim. We took the inland route for speed (hah!) and hit the required traffic jam in between LA and Orange County (seriously we complai...
