September 18, 2014 and the Tokyo Game Show kicked off at Makuhari Messe in Chiba again. This footage is from the first media day of the event. I really enjoyed it and this year we saw a record number of exhibitors, with 421 companies displaying their products from 32 different countries. I saw a lot of great stuff and just a pity I hardly had a chance to play anything myself, but at least I got to see it and talk to a few people! Creative Director: Original concept came from Hudson Japan and sent to me for evaluation and feedback. Game was green-lit and production started. Received milestone builds and created feedback documents/excel sheets on game mechanics, design, controls, sounds and visuals. The feedback is to help this game fit a global audience. A Short Movie by Pixelhunters Life is a battle of choices and roads to be taken. We choose our own paths, we mark our own map. Once choices have been made, actions play out. Consequences are delivered. And in the end, we live with those consequences. But, the real struggle is making the choice to change how we take the roads untaken. Are we tough enough to decide for ourselves when the time comes? Pease see more details and Credits at www.pixelhunters.com from Vimeo http://bit.ly/1wupDIg via IFTTT Redirecting to actual pageredirecting tohttp://vimeo.com/105589851 Continue reading

A young man takes his first leap into what it means to wonder and philosophize, as he imaginatively renders his unique thought experiences in visual form. The film examines what it means to truly be; not only to merely exist, but to engage, reflect, and respond to the world around us. (In order to fully experience the film, I highly recommend reading the preface below) UPDATES: If you like the film, please consider using that tip jar to help enter this into festivals! 9/17 - I'm currently working on Spanish subtitles, AND uploading the script so everyone can revisit as... I remember the first time I heard this song. I was fresh out of high school, driving with the windows down to my job at Jamba Juice from Waikiki beach. I could feel the sun on my skin from laying out - and I still smelt of salt water. I'm sure I was running late to work (sorry, Malia!). And then this song comes on the radio. I remember pulling over on the side of the street - I've never heard anything like it up to this point. And my initial response was bigger than "I like this song" or... Continue reading
